An ABC
Escapade through Egypt
Bernadette Simpson’s

EBook

designed by a teacher, especially for teachers

Teachers, do you have access to a computer in your classroom? If so, the eBook may be the way to go!

Of course, you don’t have to be a teacher to be interested in the eBook. :-)

Because one of my goals is for young learners everywhere to learn about modern Egypt, I wanted to make the information in my book more easily available and reasonably priced - especially for teachers and homeschoolers all over the world.

So I decided to go digital. I created and published An ABC Escapade through Egypt as an eBook. All you need is a computer, a PDF reader such as Foxit or Adobe, and a comfortable chair!

More about the eBook:

The eBook version of An ABC Escapade through Egypt was published in April 2010.

It has been modified slightly from the print version. It has been formatted for on-screen viewing and navigation. It contains hyperlinks to the resources available on this website, as well as hyperlinks within the document to improve navigation. (Because the book has over 60 full color photographs and the format is highly visual, it is not formatted for handheld e-readers.) Reading Tip: View the PDF in full screen mode for best results.

You don’t have to wait for it to be delivered. Directly after your online payment has been processed, you will be able to download the file to your computer.

Save it on your flash drive and carry it with you anywhere. It weighs nothing compared to a paperback copy. The PDF file is less than 7MB so it won’t take up much storage space on your computer. And no matter how many other eBooks you add to your classroom library, you won’t have to pack them up for summer storage!

While it may not be as cozy as curling up with a book in the reading corner, technology tends to motivate students.

Depending on the technology in your classroom, the eBook can be read:

   * on a desktop or laptop in the classroom - by individual students or a small group

   * on a PC in the computer lab - by individual students or a small group

   * on a PC projector screen - by a small group or the whole class

   * on a SMART Board or other interactive white board - by a small group or the whole class

Once your payment is confirmed,  you will receive an email message containing a link to the download site.

The book is a PDF file 6.78MB.
